My Little Frenchie Box

I love My Little Box. It's one of the few subscription boxes I'm keeping and here's why.

This is the February My Little Box in collaboration with Ines de La Fressange - the ultimate Parisian Woman. As always, the box includes 2 well thought accessories, 1 magazine and 1 illustration card. This month's box is has an added bonus, it has 4 beauty products instead of 3. Happy Days!

Looks great doesn't it?
I'll start with the Smart Phone CaseMy Little Box has collaborated with Ines to create this chic mobile phone case. This case does not only look chic, it's functional as well. It has a pocket for you to keep you bank card/tickets. I received the blue case, it's also available in red.

Having a rough day or just need a cute decoration on your desk? This Pot of Messages does the trick. The pot holds 28 special pick me up messages that will brighten up your day.

Now for the beauty products, the first product is By Terry Waterproof Khol Pencil. I haven't tried this yet and judging by its price tag, I expect good things from this pencil. It retails for £23 - yikes!

Next product is another pencil - cheaper one. I got the Super Liner Brow Artist Shaper by L'Oreal Paris. This 3-in-1 eyebrow pencil allows you to draw, discipline and set your brows for that perfect brow shape.

Ever heard of blotting papers? I love them - I have oily skin. Included in the box is 100 sheets of DHC Blotting Paper. It's made of 100% natural hemp fibres to absorb all the oil from your face. It looks so pretty too.

The last product is from My Little Box's own brand My Little Beauty. It's a Complexion Enhancer with apricot kernel oil to help bring life back to your skin. It's lightweight and has delicate tint to it. Much like Benefit's That Gal Brightening Face Primer.

I am very happy with this box, not only did I get that lovely phone case but also received 4 beauty products. Happy Days indeed!

My Little Box Energy Box Review

New Year, New Start. What's your new year's resolution? For many of us it's to loose weight or get toned. January's My Little Box is the perfect weight loss/get toned companion to this resolution.

This month, My Little Box focuses on fitness and beauty. I recieved 3 beauty products and 2 fitness themed items.

Let's start with accessories. First one is the My Little Sports Bag, retails for £20 at My Little Box's shop. It's a cute gym bag with a feel good message. The material is a bit thin but looks durable, perfect bag to put all your gym essentials in.

The next item is the My Little Box Calendar which retails for £10 at My Little Box's shop. Not only will this calendar tell you what day and date it is, it will help stimulate your mind with tips on how to stay energised throughout the year. It also features a Sudoku page, insipiring quotes, beautiful illustrations and horoscopes.

Now onto the Beauty products. The first one is a bottle of nail varnish in Tate Red from Nails Inc London which retails for £11. I love Nails Inc, I just don't love the price. Tate Red is such a
classic, timeless and elegant colour.

The next item is the Photo-Hydra Day Cream by  Talika. This product retails for £43.50 for 50ml. I can't really say anything  about this item because I haven't tried it yet. I've got 8 tubs of cream to go through and review. I will let you guys know if it's any good next time.

The last item is My Little Beauty's Energising Mist which retails for £7.50. I love this mist because it's packed with vitamin C, green tea and antioxidants. I use it when my skin needs a little boost especially when I'm at work where it's really hot and dry. A couple of spritz and my skin feels refreshed.

A good way to start the New Year. I don't get anything from this but if you're interested in subscribing you can go directly to My Little Box's site (https://www.mylittlebox.co.uk) to get your first box. Remember it's £11 per box plus £3.95 shipping.

My Little Box by Fleur de Force

I know it's really late for this December My Little Box review but as the saying goes, it's better late than never. Here we go, December My Little Box in collaboration with YouTube star Fleur de Force.

I didn't enjoy this box as much as I did the previous ones because half the accessories that came with it went to other people. Don't get me wrong, this box was useful and it was perfect for christmas but I would rather keep the stuff to myself thank you very much.

Everyone got a set of fancy masking tape, a roll of black and white gift wrapping string and a pack of fancy gift tags. The masking tape were perfect as I've run out of washi tape over the holiday season.

I have misplaced my headband/ear warmer that's why I have no individual photo of it. I got the peachy coloured one. It has hints of gold and it looks lush. I don't recommend it an ear warmer if it's too cold, it simply cannot replace a hat during those cold winter months. If you're staying indoors and want to look stylish, it's perfect.

COWSHED Wild Cow Invigorating Body Lotion 100ml

This item retails for £18 and it's perfect for the cold weather. It's packed with natural ingredients, like shea butter to help hydrate and moisturise the skin. This body lotion has a hint of lemongrass and ginger and it smells refreshing.

L'OCCITANE Creme Precieuse Immortelle

This item retails for £45 for 50 ml and it's another winter must have. It has triple action to help the skin appear younger, firmer and smoother. How I wish my box came with a full size one but I'm still happy I was able to try this Creme out.

MY LITTLE BOX My Little Beauty Lipstick

This lipstick is from My Little Box's own brand, My Little Beauty and is available on My Little Corner for £15. It's not available to ship to the UK yet but My Little Box has said they are hoping to ship here soon. I wasn't really impressed with the colour to be honest. It looked very pink but once applied, it just looked like a lip balm.

I would rate this box 7/10, not bad but not as good as the other My Little Box's that I've received. This subscription service is still better than most out there and if you want to know how to subscribe, visit their page HERE

Tonight's 10 Step Skin Care Routine

I know everyone wants perfect, fresh skin but you have to put in some work for you to achieve that. Here's my steps for tonight.

I've forgotten to put the Foam Cleanser and Pore Mask in the photo.
1. My Little Beauty's (My Little Box's own brand) Eau Micellaire Démaquillante. This is like Bioderma and Garnier's Micellar Water. It delicately cleanses and removes makeup from your face and eyes. It also helps improve skin complexion with the help of aloe vera.

2. I then washed my face with Ariul Stress Relieving Purefull
Cleansing Foam. Lime scented foam on your face, mmmmm. Very refreshing.

Reused the photo from the Thanksgiving box review

3. It's been ages since I used a pore mask and I just happen to get my hands on Pro You Pore Control Facial Mask. I tried it and I think I'll use it again because it's easy to use, rinses easily and left a clean feeling on my face. I kept the mask on for 20 minutes and rinsed it off with lukewarm water.

4. Gokmul Care Ultra Ampoule Toner,  best toner EVER - need I say more? I like patting this toner on my face instead of using cotton
wool, I'm weird like that.

5. Cellbydate Galacto Zero Essence. This preps up the skin for the
deluge of creams and serums I'm about to pack on. Same with the toner, I use my hands to pat this essence on.

6. AHC Hologram Moisture Serum. I use this when I use a wash off mask to boost the moisture on my face. This serum I normally spread then pat on for better circulation and absorbency.

7. Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream is one of my go to eye creams. It's light but packs enough goodness to keep those lines away from my
face. I usually wait for 2 minutes before proceeding to the next
step to allow my skin to absorb eveything I just put on.

8. I then use Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream to calm those angry blemishes. I'm quite generous with this gel cream and slap tons on.

9. I'm almost done, I swear I am. I love Tonymoly's Appletox to help keep the moisture in and boost the snail with apple and honey. I then wait for 5 minutes to give my face time to absorb everything.

10. Last step! I use Tonymoly's Panda's Dream White Sleeping Pack to seal all the products I just slapped on my face.

I know it's a lot but trust me, it makes a huge difference and you will thank yourself in the future for investing all that time to the promotion of your skin. So what's your skin care routine!

My Little DVF Box

Better late than never, October has brought one of the, if not the BEST box I have ever received.  My Little DVF Box has arrived in style.

Just Divine

This month, My Little Box has collaborated with one of the best designers in the world.  The woman who introduced us to the 'wrap dress' and who encouraged us to be the women we want to be - Diane Von Furstenberg.

This box features an amazing DVF signature print scarf which comes in black, green and red.  It can be used in multiple ways, from a scarf, headband, bag to shrug. For videos visit My Little Box Instagram page.  Then there's the DVF lip-shaped brooch which looks amazing.
  Pandora Jewellery UK

The DVF box also has a 10ml L'Occitane hand cream that's perfect for the cold winter months. I got the Vanilla Bouquet which is my
favourite, I just wish it was a little bigger as 10ml is tiny.

Next is the Kérastase K laque noire Extra Strong Hold 75ml hair spray. I don't particularly use hair spray on my hair as it's difficult, bordering on near impossible, to style. However, my bf said it's quiet good and it lasts.

And last but not the least, My Little Beauty's Eau Micellaire Démaquillante. This is My Little Box's own brand. You can use this product to delicately remove makeup from your face and eyes and it gently moisturises the skin using aloe vera. I have tried so many cleansing water out there but this little beauty is one of the best I have tried. It's very lightly scented and it goes a long way.

What do you think? For me, My Little Box is the one box to watch out for. If you like your cosmetics then this box might not be the right one for you however, if you're like me, who's tired of the same tiny samples you get from other subscription boxes, then MY LITTLE BOX is the perfect box for you.

First time blogger.. Testing

There's a new blogger in town, an asian girl in London documenting the bliss that comes with unboxing subscription boxes and anything girly.

Birchbox is my first subscription box and certainly not my last. Since then, I have subscribed to 2 more monthly boxes (you beauty box and my little box), 1 bi-monthly box (for my cats), lib, memebox and all boxed up.

I was scanning my fb newsfeed when I came across an advert for a new subscription box.  My Little Box... Mmmmm a little piece of Paris in a box.  I was curious to see what they have to offer so I paid £11 + £3.95 P&P and I waited, and waited, and waited a bit more.  After more than 3 weeks, the postman knocked on my door with a biggish box addressed to me.  I was ecstatic! I wanted to open the parcel asap but I had to control myself.  I wanted to take photos and share my experience with you.

My Little Parisienne Box

My Little Box was well worth the wait.  This subscription box is totally different from all the boxes I receive.  My Little Box have put so much effort on the presentation that I didn't want to mess it up but still I wanted to see more (go to gallery for more unboxing photos). My Little Parisienne Box had full size  Laura Mercier foundation primer, Nuxe Dry Oil, My Little Box's own Stylo Lumiere, Parisienne inspired laptop sleeve, stickers, notebook and illustration.

This subscription box from Paris has definitely raised the bar when it comes to boxes.  I just hope UK based subscription will try and improve the quality of  their boxes as international ones like My Little Box and Memebox are giving subcribers value for their money.  What do you think?
