SHARA SHARA Acerola Moist Oil Balm 30ml

     This item retails for $17 at Memebox shop.  This balm is perfect for people who needs extra moisture to help replenish dry, flaky skin.  It's made with macadamia seed oil, horseradish seed oil, aloe vera leaf extracts, peach extracts and acerola extracts. It smells very nice and it comes in a very nice red tin. 

SHARA SHARA Only You Necklace Lip Balm 

     This item retails for $34 at Memebox shop.  I got No. 1 Juicy Peach and let me tell you this, the packaging is to die for. It looks so nice - other people received a damaged necklace but my one's divine. The colour is not the best one but it's all about the packaging for me.  

SHARA SHARA Natural Shining BB SPF 36 40g

     This item retails for $16 at Memebox shop.  This is one of the first Korean BB cream that I have used.  I was very hesitant to use this as it says Shining and I'm oily. I don't need anymore shine on my face thank you very much.  However, I do write reviews and I cannot write a review unless I have actually tried the stuff.  I wear this BB Cream after my Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream and I actually like it.  I use a small amount to give me the dewy look I'm looking for.  

ETUDE HOUSE My Castle Hand Cream 30ml

     This item retails for $7 at Memebox shop.  It's not the best hand cream in the market but it sure does look pretty.  I love the packaging so much I just put my favourite hand cream in it and take it wherever I go.  I got the Ice Frozen one and I love the scent - very fresh.

TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL Dinoplatz Cinema City 10ml

     The full size retails for $30.  This CC cream is so nice it's a shame Memebox sent a deluxe sample.  It covers and corrects most of the imperfections on my face and it sort of blurs and perfect my skin.  I need more of this cream - I really do.

THE YEON JEJU HALLABONG Energy Pack 3g x 4ea

     This item/s retail for $6 for 4 pots of yogurt-like masks that treat specific problems.  I got 2 Live Packs that basically  provides cooling effect on the skin.  I also got 1 Pore Ghassoul Pack which treats the pot holes on my face and helps get rid off excess sebum and dirt.  Lastly, 1 Peeling Gel that gently exfoliates away dead skin cells for a smoother complexion. Make sure to apply on a clean face, wait for 15-20 minutes then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Over all, I love this box not for the quality of the items but the packaging.

Memebox Thanksgiving Box 2 - For You

Now for the second instalment of the Memebox Thanksgiving Box Duo - the For You box.  Well, it's not really a For You box.  It's more like For Me too box.

VIVITO Illust Lumiere Primer  30ml

     This item retails around $50 at Memebox.  I was a little hesitant with this primer because it looked too pearly white but I pulled myself together and tried it.  I was pleasantly surprised about the results.  It glided easily onto my face, covered my pot hole pores and  helped control my shiny, oily face. Really, really impressed with the results. I think I have found a replacement for my Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - ok, maybe not a replacement but I would definitely use it as an alternative.  Tip: Mix it with your daily BB/CC cream for a better finish.

SHARA SHARA Miracle Multi Cream 50ml

     This item retails around $18 at Memebox.  You can use this cream on your face, body or hair - wherever you need moisture and repair.  This cream is packed with 30 different kinds  plant oil complex including grape seed oil, rosehip oil, and green tea oil.   Have you heard of Egyptian Magic cream and the Moa Green Balm? The Shara Shara Miracle Multi Cream is something similar but smells so much better than those creams. Don't get me wrong - I love the Egyptian Magic cream but I love the smell of the Shara Shara Cream.  It's more affordable too. 

SHARA SHARA Brush Set 5ea

     This set retails around $24 at Memebox.  I was surprised and glad that this set was included in the box.  I wanted to get new brushes. There's 5 brushes in the set, 1 Powder brush, 3 medium brushes for eye makeup, and 1 lip colour brush. It's a very basic kit but useful nonetheless. The brushes themselves are quite soft and the colour very cute. 

VIVITO Painting Sweet Lip Balm 12g

     This item retails around $24 at Memebox.  I got the 01 Orange Farm.  This lip balm smells like sweet orange.  It's formulated with orange peel oil, grape extracts, blackberry extracts and vitamin E.
It promises to moisturise and revive dry, chapped lips.  Maybe it's just me, but this lip balm didn't revive my dry, chapped lips. I also didn't like digging my fingers in the pot to put my lip balm on (I'm a healthcare worker and dipping your fingers in a pot and onto your lips at work is not the most hygienic thing to do.) So, if you don't mind dipping your fingers in jelly to moisturise your lips then this product is for you. Best thing about this product? The orange tin... 

PERIPERA Heart Glow Stick 6.5g

     This item retails around $14 at Memebox and it's available in 2 tones. 001 Pink Beam and 002 Gold Aura.  I got 002 Gold Aura.  It's a very handy highlighter stick to have in your purse. If you use this with the Vivito Illust Lumiere Primer, your skin will look amazingly dewy. For those who don't have a clue about highlighting your face, Memebox has provided a simple chart of where to highlight. 

WITH SHYAN Nail Lacquer 15ml

     This item retails around $4 at Memebox and is available in 4 colours, Blue Violet, Neon Green, Pink Lady and Neon Purple.  I got Neon Green in my box and I'm not a happy bunny.  I don't like neon green, it does not suit me but I like the bottle and maybe able to repurpose the bottle instead. 

SARACEN Fluorescent Glitter 13g

     This item retails around $6 at Memebox and is available in 4 colours, Silver, Gold, Black and Blue.  I got the Silver pot. $6 for a tiny pot of silver glitter - come on, say it with me... What the fudge?! I don't know what to say about this tiny pot. I will probably use for a craft project as I feel like there's not enough glitter in the pot for all my nails. Like the neon green nail lacquer and lip balm in this box, I like the container and I will definitely reuse it for something else.

PURE SMILE Essence Mask Sheet 23ml

     This items retail around $2 at Memebox.  There's 2 mask in the Thanksgiving box, Milk and Strawberry Milk and let me tell you this, both smells lovely I wanted to lick my face. This mask is rich in milk proteins, fresh raspberry extracts, Vitamin E, collagen, and hyaluronic acid that moisturise, protect and balance the skin for a healthier complexion. How to use: Spread the mask sheet evenly over clean face and leave for 15-20 minutes. Remove and pat in  the remaining essence for full absorbance.  Tip: Exfoliate first then proceed to your normal skin care routine of toner, essence, serum,

 cream then the mask for best results. 

I'm sort of half and half with this box, I loved the primer, the multi cream, the highlighter, the brushes and the masks but wasn't too keen on the nail care items and lip balm. But all in all, I'm still happy with this box and more than happy to recommend most of the products to other people.

Liner.  This product comes in 2 colours: 01 Black Brown and 02 Purple Black.  Im glad I got the 02 eye liner.  Purple and black makes my eyes standout more than brown. These two colours combined creates more edge than a single colour liner.  This wonderful product comes with a brush that makes it easier to combine and apply. 

Soothing Blemish Balm

The product above is the Royal Nature's Original Soothing Blemish Balm.  This item is like a BB cream minus all the chemicals.  It's made of calendula extracts, chamomile extracts, cypress essential oil and portulaca extracts. If you want a more natural BB cream that will sooth and brighten your skin then, try the Royal Nature's Blemish balm.  I'm sure you will love it. 

If you, like me, don't have time to put on eyeshadow on in the 
morning then the Shara Shara  Creamy Dual Auto Eye Stick is a life saver.  You have eye shadow on one end then eyeliner on the other.  I normally put eyeshadow when I'm on the train to work so this product is quite convenient.  It has the right amount of shimmer to wake my eyes up in the morning.  It comes in 4 different colours: 
No 1 Shine Gold Khaki, No 2 Holly Pink Brown, No 3 Celeb Burgundy, No 4 Glam Brownie.

The next item is the 8ml Cheek Room Two Colour Lip Gloss this product is like a lip stain and lip gloss put together.  I was quite impressed with this gloss as it lasts a long time without any touch ups. It's also not as sticky as I was expecting it to be.  The last item on the card is the Shara Shara Glitter Pearl Powder. Comes in a little pot with it's own applicator.  It's perfect for highlighting in a hurry.  Just make sure you use it sparingly as it's quite shimmery.  It's light and compact  to use on the go for a quick shimmer.

Memebox was kind enough to add a gift with this box.  They have 

included Cellbydate The Real Galacto Zero Essence. I had to research this product before using it and this is what I've found.  This product uses galactomyces ferment filtrate which is good for sensitive and acne prone skin, like mine.   It's very gentle on the skin it helps reduce redness.  It also moisturises the skin and has no alcohol, fragrance or preservatives .  

Truth be told, this is not the best box BUT it's been  made perfect by the Cellbydate Essence.  I honestly don't know what to do when it finishes.

My first Memebox

For years I have subscribed to various subscription boxes in the UK and to be honest I have never heard of Memebox until Late October this year. I was hesitant to get a box but after a little bit of research I finally took the plunge and got myself my first Memebox. I picked the Superbox Cutie Pie Marzia 2.  Avid Memebox addicts will tell you that this box is not that good but for someone who's used to tiny sample sizes, this box was amazing.

As you can see the box contains several interesting items which includes my favourite, a full size Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream. I have tried countless creams in the market but this little apple pot is just divine. It smells nice, it's not sticky, it's feels good on the skin and even if you leave the cream the whole day, your face will not feel greasy. 

      

My next favourite item is the 100ml The Yeon Jeju Hallabong Energy Mild All-in-One Serum.  This vitamin C rich serum has a mild citrus smell thats very good for all skin type. I especially like this serum because I had adult acne a few months back. I have blemishes from the acne and with the help of this citrus serum, the blemishes are slowly fading. Like the Tony Moly Appletox, The Yeon Jeju Hallabong doesn't make your face greasy at all. 

 

If you're like me, you'd have a bag full of lipsticks, lip crayon and lip glosses.  The Shara Shara Petit Friend Matte Lip Crayon is a keeper, the colour is very vibrant and it lasts all day with minimal touch-up. I never wore red lip colour before so I was kind of disappointed that I got Real Red one however, I summoned up the courage and tried it - at work. Guess what? It actually suits me. 

Purple Foundation, yes, purple. I never thought I would ever try 

something like purple foundation in my life but then again, that's the whole point of getting these boxes. To try something new and find the ones that work for you. This purple Revecen Face Control Foundation actually works for my yellow skin tone. It covered my dark circles and post adult acne blemishes. I found it easier to apply using clean, warm fingertips. 

Next one is the Cheek Room Lip Balm Clover in Cherry Clover. I 

wasn't impressed with this product. The packaging was really nice, 

has a vintage feel to it.  The clover in the middle is a nice touch 

but the product itself failed to deliver. It was too sticky and if 

you're using your finger to put your balm on then you have sticky 

fingers all the time.  I didn't feel the plumping effect of this lip

balm. 

The last product is the Triple Shine Color Shadow by Shara Shara. I got the Cobalt Blue palette. I haven't used the item simply because it's too cute and I was saving it for christmas. I know someone who likes cute packaging like this. If I'm going to buy an eye shadow palette based just on packaging then Shara Shara will be my choice

          

   

I could not be more happy with my first ever Memebox. I got full sized CUTE items that a lot of ladies would be envious of and I get the satisfaction of receiving and opening surprise boxes.
